Paddle Against Poverty is part of Bali Ocean Week bringing a brighter future to Indonesia. The Bali Ocean week is a week-long community event that brings clean water, food and opportunity to those facing a life in poverty, plants thousands of corals, cleans rivers and recycles tons of plastic.
The Paddle against poverty is part of the closing celebration of the Bali Ocean Week starting from Kanoa and ending at Times Warung. On June 8th or the most suitable ocean day between June 8–13th 2025, over 100 surfers, locals, and legends will paddle the Bali coastline to raise funds for urgent causes in East Indonesia and Greater Bali.

Goals:

Feed families & provide clean drinking water in Naba, Flores.

Empower & educate children in Suwung.

Fund education programs for underprivileged kids in Bali.

After Party
Awards Ceremony, Breakfast bights, drinks and community fun!
The Paddle
Start at Kanoa Surf, finish at Times Warung.
Up to 100+ paddlers, with safety boats and lifeguards.

We’re inviting top surf brands, hotels, and the Bali community to donate goods, and fund Yayasan Insan Guna Indonesia and Feed Starving People INC (Registered USA foundation) break the cycle of poverty in Indonesia!
